Mujeres Talk
Permanent URI for this community
These are the archives of Mujeres Talk, an online, interdisciplinary, edited, and moderated forum for the circulation and discussion of original research, commentary, and creative work in short form. Mujeres Talk was published from 2011-2017. It focused on the work of Chicana, Latina, and Native American women, their allies, and others from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. The site, founded by Theresa Delgadillo, began as a Tumblr page linked to the Wordpress home page of the organization Mujeres Activas en Letras y Cambio Social (MALCS) and many MALCS members contributed to it in the early years. In 2013, Mujeres Talk moved to its own Wordpress site hosted by The Ohio State University Libraries. A national Editorial Board ran Mujeres Talk until 2017 when it was closed. Latinx Talk is the successor of Mujeres Talk, and is still actively publishing. All archived posts represent the views of individual authors.
