Abstract
Extension Master Gardener Volunteers (EMGVs) assist Ohio State University Extension with research-based horticultural outreach. While the projects that they engage in vary greatly, recently more Volunteers are initiating community garden/food projects. These projects require a different skill set than traditional EMGV projects. The purpose of this program is to equip EMGVs with community engagement skills in order to successfully sustain community garden/food projects.
