Abstract
Founded in 2013, The Risk Institute at Fisher College of Business exists to bridge the gap between academia and industry. We are a collection of forward-thinking companies and academics that understand effective risk management strategies not only protect firms but position them to create growth and value. We are leading a nationwide initiative to curb distracted driving utilizing a four-tiered approach - research, legislation, technology, and environment/urban planning.
