Fourier transform spectra of various samples of $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">15</mrow>}N218O$ have been collected from 600 to $6000cm-1$. Initial analysis of these spectra has concentrated on the region from 600 to $1200cm-1$ which contains the $\nu 2,\nu 1$ and $2\nu 2$ bands along with several weaker l-doubled bands. Analysis of the stronger absorption bands in this spectral region has been completed. In the overall context of the calibration problem in diode laser spectroscopy the role of the spectra of the isotopic species of nitrous oxide was $examined.2$
