Abstract
A high resolution Fourier interferometer with asymmetric capability is being used to study the strengths and widths of molecular transitions in the far infrared. The additional information available from the asymmetric mode facilitates the analysis by eliminating the need for data at the line center. The technique will be discussed and the results of measurements on CO and on other small molecules will be shown.
