Abstract

By measuring the spectral transmission in this band of CH3D, which is of important in the thermal infrared spectrum of Jupiter, we have been able to derive line intensity data and line shape data for hydrogen-broadened lines. The absolute intensity of the band is 63cm−2atm−1 at 300∘K.
