Abstract

The poster to be submitted presents the learnings and experiences from my STEP final project. It will included information about my time in the classroom preparing for the two-week service-learning trip to Akumadan, Ghana as well as information about my time spent in Ghana. I will share with you what I learned throughout the duration of this project and how it impacted my personal life and my long-term goals for my career in chemical engineering. Having never been outside the country before, I will share what the cross-cultural experience taught me about my lifestyle and my take on American culture.
