Abstract

Photoelectric recording of Raman spectra excited by the 6328\AA line of a Helium-Neon gas maser has recently been reported.1,2 In the experiments of Porto and Leite the Raman cell was placed inside the maser cavity, while this cell was placed outside the maser cavity in our case. This time we would like to report on the measurement of depolarization ratios and relative intensities of Raman bands of some organic liquids. It is shown that measured depolarization ratios deviate only a few percent from the theoretical values.
