Abstract

Infrared spectra of pyridazine, pyridazine-3,6-d2, pyridazine-4,5-d2 and pyridazine-d4 in the liquid state were measured in the 270 to 4000cm−1 region. Raman spectra of these liquids were recorded and polarization data obtained. The vibrational assignment made satisfies the Teller-Redlich product rules, and a discussion of the frequency sum rules is given.
