Abstract

This study presents the results of two cross-sectional surveys on Social Media (SM) and Internet usage of Poles. One of the surveys was a classical representative random sampling-based panel, and the other was a survey administered through the online panel. By pinpointing the differences and similarities between the results of these two cross-sectional studies, we describe the differences inherent to these two sample types. The current research reports on SM and Internet use in the Polish sample also serve as instructive examples in representative sampling.
