Abstract

A collection of Coriolis-allowed bands have been observed in the far infrared spectrum of $H^{13}CNO$, recorded with the Bruker IFS 120 HR and a resolution of $0.003 cm^{-1}$. These bands are not detectable at all in the parent species. Each of these bands acquires intensity from the Coriolis resonance between the $(\nu_{4}, \nu_{5})^{1} = (02)^{0e}$ and $(10)^{1e}$ vibrational states. Further Coriolis-induced transitions have been found in the microwave region. The present work is concerned with deriving information from the intensity of the perturbation-allowed transitions.
