Abstract

A collection of Coriolis-allowed bands have been observed in the far infrared spectrum of H13CNO, recorded with the Bruker IFS 120 HR and a resolution of 0.003cm−1. These bands are not detectable at all in the parent species. Each of these bands acquires intensity from the Coriolis resonance between the (ν4,ν5)1=(02)0e and (10)1e vibrational states. Further Coriolis-induced transitions have been found in the microwave region. The present work is concerned with deriving information from the intensity of the perturbation-allowed transitions.
