Abstract

The D2Σ+A2Σ+ and E2Σ+D2Σ+ electronic systems have been recorded for the 14N16O and 15N16O molecules in the 7000cm−1 - 9500 cm−1 spectral range with a Fourier Transform Interferometer. The analysis of the 0-0, 1-1, 2-2 bands gave us accurate values for the faint spin-rotation constant measured for the first time in the states D2Σ+ and E2Σ+. Our values for the A2Σ+ state are compared with recent laser two photons measurements.
