Abstract
Optical-optical double resonance (OODR) spectra of BaF were recorded using two singlemode, cw dye lasers. The $B^{2} \Sigma ^{+} - X^{2} \Sigma^{+}$ transition is pumped an Oxazine 725 laser near $14,000 cm^{-1}$, OODR excitation spectra were recorded by scanning a second (Rhodamine 6G) dye laser. Two electronic states were observed in the $30,000 cm^{-1}$ region, the known $F^{2}\Sigma^{+}$ state and a new $F^{\prime} 2}\Pi_{r}$ state. Molecular constants for the BaF $F^{2}\Sigma^{+}$ and $F^{\prime} 2}\Pi_{r}$ states will be reported.
