Knowledge Bank

We have measured the $l$-type doubling ($\Delta J=+1,\Delta l=0$) for hydrogen cyanide and methinophosphide and extended the ground state measurements on methinophosphide into the submillimeter region. The obtained l-type doubling constants will be compared with existing values and a discussion of the interaction constant $\alpha 2$ into harmonic and anharmonic contributions will be attempted.
