Abstract
Diatomic zirconium sulfide is a molecule of astrophysical $interest.^{1}$ A laboratory sample of zirconium disulfide powder and solid zirconium was heated in a King furnace to a temperature of $2150^{\circ}C$ in a helium environment at 50 Torr. The emission spectrum was measured using the Fourier transform spectrometer at the National Solar Observatory at Kitt Peak. The spectral region 600-1000 nm was observed. Results will be discussed. A number of molecular bandhead features were identified and attributed to ZrS.
