Knowledge Bank

The first and second overtone bands of $N15O$ at 2.7 and $1.8\mu$ have been obtained with a total absorption path equivalent to 0.32 and 1.6 meter atmospheres respectively. The results are more precise than our previous work with $N14O$. The molecular constants obtained from the analysis will be compared with those obtained from microwave $data1-2$ and those based on $N14O$ and an isotope shift.
