Abstract
The $\nu_{1}$ fundamental band of $DO_{2}$ was observed using a tunable infra-red difference frequency laser. $DO_{2}$ was generated by an a.c. discharge in $CH_{3}OD$ and $O_{2}$ at a total pressure of 1 torr in a multipass, Zeeman-modulated cell. The rotational-vibrational lines, which occurred near $3.9\mu$m ($2550 cm^{-1}$), were analyzed and molecular constants were determined by a least squares fit.
