Abstract

The R(0) and R(1) lines of the ν3 band for the three isotopic silane molecules 28SiH4, 29SiH4 and 30SiH4 have been recorded at high resolution in the infrared. The equivalent widths and absolute line strengths have been determined in a manner analogous to previous work from our laboratory on germane1 and methane.2 The transition dipole moments for the three molecules have been determined.
