Raman spectra of $N2/CO$ mixed crystals have been obtained at several concentrations between 0 and 100%. The lattice vibrations have been studied both directly and in combination with the stretching modes. A preliminary analysis of the spectra indicates that the $Eg$ and lower frequency $Tg$ librations ace in the amalgamation limit. The higher frequency $Tg$ mode does not appear to be in this limit.
