Abstract
Some gas-phase spectra will be examined in the far-infrared region of the spectrum. Resolution as high as $0.1 cm^{-1}$ will be exhibited along with lower resolution spectra to show some of the advantages of high resolution spectra. Spectra will be shown down to $10 cm^{-1}$ to demonstrate the spectral range of the instrumentation used. The advantages of Fourier transform spectroscopy as compared to conventional infrared spectroscopy will also be discussed.
