The GL (Air Force’s Geophysics Laboratory) high resolution Fourier transform spectrometer has been used to measure spectra of a $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">13</mrow>}C$ enriched sample of $CO2$ heated to 800K in a high temperature absorption cell. The single pass cell had an absorption path of 1.75 meter, where the central 1 meter section of the cell was maintained at 800K and a temperature gradient was present in the two end sections. The enriched sample consisted of 88% $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">13</mrow>}C16O2,$ 11% $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">13</mrow>}C\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">1</mrow>}6O18O,$ and 1% various other isotopes.
