Abstract

The microwave spectrum of samples of Me3N−BMe3,Me315N−BMe3, and (CD3)3−BMe3 have been investigated. These weak adducts give rise to broad absorption bands with some resolvable structure. Efforts at assigning the spectral details and determining the ground state BO’s have not been completely successful. Nevertheless, using the isotope shifts a value of 1.70 ±0.02\AA for d(B-N) can be obtained and estimates can be made for the other structural parameters.
