Abstract

The authors have constructed a far infrared grating spectrometer1 capable of 1 to 2cm−1 resolution in the region of the spectrum from 100 to 600 microns. This instrument will be described briefly. Rotation spectra will be reported of the following gases: HCl, NH3,H2O,H2S,HBr, and CO.
