Abstract

The B-X system of isotopic GaO molecules has been photographed at medium dispersion in the 350-500nm region. The spectrum was obtained in a low pressure are in the atmosphere of oxygen 16 and oxygen 18. For the isotope shift study and the vibrational analysis, the band head positions of the Δν=0,1,2,3 and 4 sequences were included in the fit. The bands of the Δν=3 and 4 were formerly attributed to new C-X system1,2,3. Vibrational constant derived from the analysis are as follows:[FIGURE] The derived molecular constants reproduce constants the measured bandheads within 0.2 cm
