Abstract

Absorption spectra of $CO_{2}, N_{2}O$ and $CS_{2}$ have been recorded using the Bruker IFS 120 HR spectrometer. Absolute frequency calibration for the mid-infrared was completed using the $CO_{2}$ and $N_{2}O$ absorption lines. The transitions were compared to previous data1 and produced a RMS deviation of $0.00005 cm^{-1}$. The $CS_{2}$ spectra at $2100 cm^{-1}$ was used to characterize the instrumental lineshape. After a correction for field of view effects an agreement of 0.03 \% transmission was achieved between experimental and theoretical lineshapes. The results of the characterization and calibration will be discussed.
