Abstract

Attempts have been made to determine the integrated infrared band intensities at 787 and 953 $cm^{-1}$ in $\alpha$-pinene. Using a 6-cm cell in an infrared hot cell assembly, the intensities have been determined at pressures that range from about 77 Torr to over 400 Torr and temperatures of from 357 to $410^\circ K$.
