Abstract

Much useful information can be derived from high resolution spectra recorded in the region 8-20 microns. Interpretation of the near infrared spectra is facilitated significantly from such studies. Numerous vibration rotation bands have been measured with a working resolution of about 0.04cm−1. An attempt will be made to present some of the more significant results obtained in collaboration with several associates1.
