Abstract
The rotational spectrum of BrO has been observed in selected regions up to 400 GHz using a free radical submillimeter spectrometer which has recently been assembled. The spectrum of the $^{2}\Pi_{3/2}$ state has several clearly resolved transitions for both isotopic species which allow for the determination of $eQq_{2}$ and $B_{eff}$. A revised and expanded set of molecular parameters will be presented for BrO and the spectrometer will be briefly described.
