Abstract
My STEP signature project was a month-long education abroad program centered in Budapest. During the time in Budapest, we learned the culture and history of central Europe at Metropolitan University. Also, we explored other cities like Austria, Vienna, Warsaw and local museums for physically experiencing how everyday life has changed over time and how those changes have affected the culture of the region. In addition to theoretical stuff, our instructor led us to visit a variety of museums and many amazing historic sites including Parliament Building, picturesque Szentendre and Habsburg crypts. Interactions with local people and professors at Metropolitan University provided me with various angles on an international issue. Other than landmarks, we tasted the delicious and authentic food and drinks. At the end of this program, students teamed up to create a video with Adobe Premier. We discussed the topic, interviewed and edited footages while the final video was projected on the screen before the day we left Budapest.
