Abstract

For my Step project I decided to do a study abroad program called Global May Spain. I stayed with a host family while taking a class on the history and culture of Spain. The program was about 5 weeks long, 4 weeks spent living in Madrid with a roommate and host family, and another week spent traveling to Andalucía, (the southern region of Spain) and staying in cities there. We would take the metro from our host families house in the morning to the classroom where we would have lecture and guest speakers. Our afternoons consisted of several walking tours and visiting historical sites.
