Abstract
This item is the meeting minutes of the Board of Trustees of The Ohio State University held on Friday, June 1, 2001, at the Ohio State University Longaberger Alumni House, Columbus, Ohio. Topics discussed at the meeting included the introduction of new trustees, president's report, presentation of distinguished university professors, consent agenda, amendments to committee appointments for 2001-2002, amendments to the bylaws of the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute Board, regional campus board appointments/reappointment, OSU Student Health Insurance Program Plan for 2001-2002, amendments to the rules of the University faculty and bylaws of the University senate, amendments to the classified civil service rules, amendments to the rules of the intramural dental practice plan, degrees and certificates - Spring quarter commencement, personnel actions, resolution in memoriam, report of research contracts and grants, the University development report, long-term disability income program, employment of architects/engineers and request for construction bids, continuation of learning technology fee in the Max M.
