Abstract

We have measured in the spectral region below 700 GHz one hundred and one new rotational-torsional transitions in the ground vibrational state. These transitions are primarily at higher $K_{-1}$ than our earlier work and make possible analyses in which all constants are calculated from microwave data. Virtually all transitions between thermally populated levels of the ground vibrational state that fall in this spectral region have now been measured or can be accurately predicted. The results of our analysis can be extrapolated to the still higher $K_{-1}$ transitions of the Far-Infrared with good accuracy. In addition, they provide a solid ground state basis for analyses of Infrared data.
