Abstract

Bradley Hall is located at 221 West 12th Avenue. Officially named "Carolyn Bradley Hall" by Board of Trustees on December 13, 1954. In honor of Professor Carolyn Bradley. Built under architect's project number 5245. Project also included Paterson (Bldg. 103), the addition to Canfield (Bldg. 098), and two additions to the Women's Dining Hall (Bldg. 105). The name on the drawings is "Women's Dormitory--12th Avenue Project." The Bradley Hall portion was designated "Unit C". The Lantern (7/29/54) referred to Bradley as "West Hall". All of the dormitories south of West 12th Avenue are frequently referred to as the "South Dorms."
