Abstract

A number of overtone and combination bands of ozone between 3 and 10 microns have been observed with a prism spectrometer using 32-meter paths of oxygen-ozone mixtures containing up to 10 atm-cm of ozone. Although positive identification can only be made from high resolution spectra, the tentative band identifications have enabled estimates of five of the six independent anharmonic vibrational constants to be made.
