Abstract

A Licking Co., Ohio, "fortified hill" originally surveyed by E.G. Squier and E.H. Davis in 1847 was revisited shortly before its destruction by a housing project. An Early Woodland age is suggested, based upon a small amount of artifact material recovered during the cursory 1977 survey.
