Abstract

The five-meter Littrow spectrometer and its associated data acquisition and control system are fully operational. The best resolution attained to date has been $0.013 cm^{-1}$. A case history of a fully automated data acquisition run will be presented from set-up through measurement and calibration of the data. The advantages and disadvantages of full computer control of the spectrometer will be discussed and examples will be presented.
