Abstract
This item is the meeting minutes of the Board of Trustees of The Ohio State University held on June 2, 2006 at the Ohio State University Longaberger Alumni House, Columbus, Ohio. Judge Duncan introduced the new trustees Alex Shumate and Teckie Shackelford. Karen A. Holbrook gave the President's Report and Jeanne Farahay was given the Student Recognition Award. The committee reports were then discussed. The consent agenda included the following resolutions: Regional Campus Boards Appointments/Reappointments, Reappointments to the University Hospitals Board and Bylaw Waiver, Approval of Non-Academic "Center" Status, Amendments to the Rules of the University Faculty, Honorary Degrees, Degrees and Certificates - Spring Quarter Commencement, Personnel Actions, Resolutions in Memoriam, Report on University Development, Approval to Enter into Design and Construction Contracts and to Increase Construction Contracts, Acceptance of the Gift of Real Property, Easement (for Columbus Southern Power Company, Northwood and High Building, 2231 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio), Easement (for East Ohio Gas Company, OARDC - Wooster, Wooster, Ohio), Easement (for Holmes-Wayne Electric Cooperative, OARDC Facilities along Messner Road, Wooster, Ohio), Easement (for Ohio Bell Telephone Company DBA/SBC Ameritech Ohio, OARDC - Jackson, Jackson, Ohio), Easement (for Ohio Edison Company, Alice Finley Memorial Center, Jefferson Township, Madison Country, Ohio), FY 2007 Columbus Campus Tuition and Other Fees and Charges, Interim Budget for Fiscal Year 2007, Report of Research Contracts and Grants, and Distinguished University Professors.
