Infrared spectra of M ($C\equiv C-CH3),(M-Si,Ge,Pb),M(C\equiv C-CF3)+(M-Si,Ge,Sn)$ and M $(C\equiv C-CH3)3)$. Raman spectra were measured in the solid state and for solutions. Polarizations were obtained utilizing a number of solvents. $Ta$ symmetry was assumed for M ($C\equiv CCH3)4$ and M ($C\equiv CCF3)3$ and $C3$ for M ($C\equiv CCH3)3$ and was completely satisfactory. Most of the spectroscopically active fundamentals could be assigned with little difficulty. The papers $\Sigma$15 through $\Sigma$24 have been added at the page proof stage. It has not been possible to include the authors of these papers in the List of Participants.
