Abstract

Relict erosional sandstone pillars or "standing stones" locally known as the Coolville Stone Pillar and Beebe or Shadow Rocks are described from eastern Athens County, Ohio. Prehistoric cupstones associated with the Coolville Stone Pillar are also illustrated and described.
