Abstract

The infrared spectra of the cis - and trans -isomers of N2F2 in the gaseous state have been measured in the NaCl, KBr and CsBr regions. A normal coordinate treatment using the Wilson FG matrix method has been performed to evaluate the potential constants. The results, coupled with the observed spectra, serve to confirm the proposed structures of the two isomers.""
