Abstract
My STEP project is a part of the education abroad category and for this project I will be participating in the Summer Global Exchange Program through the Fisher School of Business. I will be doing an internship in London for eight weeks over the summer. I will arrive in London on June 1st and leave London on July 27th. My internship will begin on June 3rd and carry on until the 26th of July. I will be working as a retail operations intern for the menswear company, Hackett. I will be working closely with the finance team over the course of the internship to complete a variety of tasks, such as sales reports and productivity analyses.
Over the course of the program, I will living in central London and will be able to explore the city and learn about all the different things London has to offer. Living abroad for the course of my internship will provide me with the opportunity to explore my passion, travelling. Being in central London puts me in the perfect location not only to explore London and the United Kingdom but also to explore the rest of Europe being that I will only be a train ride away from many European countries such as France and Belgium. Participating in this program will allow me to explore passions of mine, and also to learn about both an industry and country which I plan to work in the future, making this program one of the best learning experiences for me during my time at Ohio State.
