Abstract

An explanation of the photodetachment spectra of OH, SH and SeH is given in terms of the rotational line strengths of a 3Π,1Π1Σ+ system. Rotational coupling in the complex AH + e is found to be important. These techniques can also be used for interpreting the band contours in photoelectron spectroscopy.
