Abstract

The OH stretching band of the CD3OH isotopic species of methanol has been measured from 3570 to 3800 cm−1 with a resolution of 0.022cm−1. The spectra were recorded in digital form to facilitate deconvolution. A preliminary analysis of the spectra will be presented and compared to the results obtained by Lee et al.1 in the study of CH3OH.
