Abstract

The fine structure of the fundamental vibration rotation bands ν4, ν5 and ν4 of CH3D occurring in the region 7--9 μ was recorded with a spectral resolution of about 0.04cm−1. Computer-assisted graphical techniques similar to those used earlier in this laboratory1 were useful in analysing the observational data. A discussion will be presented of the interpretation of the experimental results.
