Knowledge Bank

The fine structure of the fundamental vibration rotation bands $\nu 4$, $\nu 5$ and $\nu 4$ of $CH3D$ occurring in the region 7--9 $\mu$ was recorded with a spectral resolution of about $0.04cm-1$. Computer-assisted graphical techniques similar to those used earlier in this $laboratory1$ were useful in analysing the observational data. A discussion will be presented of the interpretation of the experimental results.
