Abstract

Reflectance spectra of calcium, strontium, barium and lead titanate and zirconate have been measured from $1200-30 cm^{-1}$ at room temperature. The data have been analyzed using the Kramers-Kronig relationship to obtain the dielectric dispersion of these materials. The observed resonances have been related to presumed normal modes of vibration of the crystals, and comparison is made between the different $materials.
