Abstract

The vibrational properties of the series S-(+)-Ph-CHD-X (X=CH3,CH2D,CHD2,CD3) have been studied in the 3-5 μm region. Both infrared and Raman spectra have been used to make a vibrational assignment. The circular dichroism spectra have been used to test validity of the charge flow model for the calculation of vibrational rotational strengths.
