Abstract

The microwave spectrum of 1.3 cyclohexadiene has been investigated in the region 8 to 28 kmc/s. Analysis of this spectrum has yielded rotational constants and centrifugal distortion parameters for the lowest three vibrational states of the molecule. The molecular structure of cyclohexadiene will be discussed, and a simple model will be used for the description of the vibration-rotation interaction.
