Abstract
By means of the Ritz combination principle, Mn II vacuum ultraviolet wavelength standards have been calculated. For this calculation newly determined energy levels of the $Mn^{+}$ ion have been used. About 70 lines in the region 1100 to $2000 {\AA}$ are proposed as standards. These standards may be of interest to the astrophysicists since Mn II is a rather common spectrum in stellar sources.
