Abstract
The microwave spectrum of $H_{2}C:C\cdot C:O$ has been studied in the region 8-40 Gc. Several a-type lines have been assigned for two planar rotational isomers. The form consistent with a structure having the double bonds trans to one another has rotational constants: $A=10564. \pm4.8 Mc; B = 4451.0\pm.08 Mc; C=3131.5\pm.08 Mc$. The inertial defect: $I_{C}I_{B}-I_{A} =.0049\pm.02 Amu-\textrm{\AA}^{2}$. The form consistent with a structure having double bonds cis to one another had rotational constants: $A=10912. \pm2.7 Mc; B = 4205.69\pm.05 Mc; C=3036.26\pm.05 Mc$. Inertial defect $=0.03 \pm.02 Amu -\textrm{\AA}^{2}$. Quantative measurements of the Stark effect were made to yield values of the dipole moments of both forms.
