Abstract

The reflectivity and transmissivity of single crystals of $InSb^{1}$ were measured from 20 to 200 microns at different temperatures using the far infrared $spectrograph^{2}$ in this laboratory. This crystal has a sharp reststrahlen peak at 54 microns, and the reflectivity in the region beyond 70 microns changes very much as the temperature increases. The results will be compared with the optical properties of other semiconducting materials.
